Victoria Rail Trail

The section of the Victoria Rail Trail provides excellent cycling as well as hiking opportunities. Pick up the trail at 103 Lindsay St. to head south towards Lindsay, or head north towards Kinmount from 98 Francis St W.

Garnet Graham Beach Park

Check out Garnet Graham Beach Park for some family swimming time in clean, clear water. There’s also a spash pad, beach volleyball court, and a playground.

Balsam Lake Provincial Park

Balsam Lake Provincial Park has two hiking trails.

The Lookout Trail is a 2.6 km walk through eskers and kames formed over 10,000 years ago from the Wisconsin Glacier. Enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding area.

The Plantation Trail is 4.2 km moderate forest trek with both natural and pioneer highlights.

The Fenelon Falls

It’s right there in the name—check out the impressive cascade near Lock 34 in the heart of town. Stop awhile and relax in the park, where you can admire the limestone gorge below the falls and enjoy the surrounding gardens.

Lock 34

Just steps from the falls and the many shops and dining options downtown, Lock 34 is at the heart of this town. Here you’ll find visitor information, overnight mooring for boaters, washrooms, and a relaxing spot to watch the traffic on the Trent-Severn Waterway.

Maryboro Lodge — The Fenelon Museum

Maryboro Lodge is the historic home of James Wallis, built in 1837. Artifacts, artworks, and interactive programs show how settlers lived, worked, and played in the Kawarthas as they shaped our region into what it is today.

The Grove Theatre

A stunning outdoor amphitheatre—the first ever in Fenelon Falls—is home to The Grove Theatre, an exciting venue for live performance.

Colborne Street Gallery

Colborne Street Gallery is dedicated to the exhibition of contemporary art, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, fibre and mixed media arts.

Exhibition programming includes local artists from the Kawarthas and surrounding area, as well as other Canadian and international emerging, mid-career, and established artists. Located in downtown Fenelon Falls, the gallery also hosts artist talks, interactive workshops and other special events that engage and support the local community.
